Thanks for the good link. I think she is right on except that I’m not convinced the internet is forever. By her own admission, electronic documents (ie her email) are easier to discard than keep.
I am totally guilty of being an emoticon and exclamation point whore. This essay and my recent reference work on punctuation might just turn me around.
